Wells Fargo Credit card department,
I had a credit card with Wells Fargo ( I do n't remember the open date ). I closed the account and the remaining balance are just fees. I thought the fees were waived because I closed the account. However, the balance remained on the account and now the account is charged off and is being reported negatively to the credit bureaus. The balance on the account consists of only fees. I feel this is a compliance violation as I should be responsible for the balance if its just fees.
