Disputed information with Equifax regarding a - - credit card disputing to late payments : - - -, - - -. In speaking with agent, I asked at what point will these late payments cease to have a negative impact on my credit score provided by Equifax ; the score provided to the consumer and the score provided to a potential lender. - agent disconnected the call. - agent had to escalate to a Call Center Supervisor. Unfortunately, the Call Center Supervisor did not directly answer the question. Instead, explained that a potential lender has the ability to utilize multiple scoring models from each Credit Reporting Agency. Then, placed the responsibility the potential lenders and the score cards used when evaluating a consumer for credit.
