Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Illinois

The bank overcharged me for a service on my debit acct. I called the bank and tried to rectify the situation : I am a - - and I went to their branch office and tried to put the money an ATM and the bank did not have a machine for me to put in the funds. And then, I called them and asked them if I could put the money in by the closing of the business day and they refused. I want my overcharge removed from my acct. I was not treated appropriately.
