I deposited a $5200.00 check at the branch on -/-/2016. The Branch manager that came to sign off on the check told me that it 's asking for a 7 day hold due to negative balance and past overdraw charges. The issuing bank for the check for the insurance company was - - and I told her I can go to - and cash the check at the bank and deposit the cash do do n't have to wait 7 days, and then she said she would sign off for the funds to be available on -/-/2016. I asked her if she is sure, since I need to write bills and she said yes. On Monday -/-/2016 I called the Bank and asked why the hold was not released I was advised they are unable to release the hold until 5 business days after the deposit date and to call back Tuesday the -/-/2016. I called on Tuesday and was told to call back on Wednesday, so I called today on -/-/2016 and was still advised the hold will not be released until Friday -/-/2016. It has been already 7 days since the deposit and 5 business days and hold has not been released after I have been promised it would. I got another check from the insurance company and had to go to - - to cash the check and make a cash deposit of $2800.00 on Monday -/-/2016 to cover the negative balance since the hold was not released on -/-/- as I was promised and the account went negative and I was charged fees. The insurance checks were a payoff for my motorcycle and I 'm purchasing a new one with the proceeds I got. I want a refund for all overdraft charges on the account from -/-/2016, the date I deposited the check and I need at least - of the funds to be available on Thursday -/-/2016 for my down payment. Otherwise, I 'm going to miss the incentive promotion that the dealer has going, - off the value.
