AES/PHEAA Student Loan Complaint

AES/PHEAA Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't get flexible payment options New York

I am currently on a modified payment plan that is very managable and I am able to pay ever month. I do not have any defaults with AES at the time becasue this plan is helping me. I called them today to see what my options are becasue I am able to pay this amount and keep them satisfied. They advised me that I have no options at the time and that after this year my payments will be going back to the normal amounts. I told them I will not and cn not afford that amount. They told me they can not do anything about it. I want to pay the loans but not a the crazy amount they want. There has to be some long time resonable payment plan that they can offer me because at this point they want me to go into default. How is this legal of them to say we can not help you and you have to pay this or default when I am trying to work with them?
