I had a payday loan with a company several years ago and paid if off. Now after several years they are trying to reach me by phone to get me to come back and do business with them. when they call i dont answer so now they starting calling the references that i had listed on my original application with them. they called my wifes cell phone number and highly upset her, i feel as if my privacy was compromised. I will never do business with this crooked company again, i never gave permission for references to be called on a closed account. they are so desperate for business they have stooped to cold calling old customer and their references. Im sure there has to be some law that prevents this from happening. The call was placed from the -, Tn store at app. - and the number they called from was -
