Improper use of my credit report Received marketing offer after opted out California
I had surgery late - and I was out of commission for about 7 days. My friend named - - - or - stayed with me so that she could care for me. I found out that she put a credit card -- in her name using my social security number, her address and her email address. I recognized her email address and that is why I figured out who stole my identity. Also, I had - other cards that were stolen and I could not determine who stole them, however it was around the same time as this one., so I assume that she stole these as well. - went unidentified because she would use these cards in small increments until she maxed them out. I have filed a police report on the - - credit card and I did put - 's name in the document. I said that I will prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law.
