Care Credit Card - Used for Pet, Vision, Medical, etc .... In -, we had a series of unfortunate mishaps. We had to take our cat and dog to the vet on separate occasions. We have bills totaling over $ -. The Care Credit card allows options for deferred interest if you pay within the promotional deadline. In multiple cases we selected 0 % for 12 months. Each month our bill provides the monthly balance, deferred interest, and when the promotional date expires. My concern is deceitful and misleading payment processing.
are applying portions of the payment as they see fit. A consumer paying $500.00 naturally wants to pay down charge # 1. There is indication in their payment system that says otherwise. A consumer believes all of the $500.00 payment is being applied to charge # 1. Care Credit has been deceitfully spreading out the payments among the multiple charges, which then makes the consumer default into interest charges. This is not only wrong but a bold face lie since there is nothing indicating/differentiating payments to multiple charges. We have never been late and always pay on time. I am angry because we have multiple charges we have been trying to pay off, only to see that Care Credit is lying to their customers about payment distribution. We expect an inquiry to be made and restitution to all customers they have been cheating for a long time. I have no idea how many years we may have been paying interest believing we were paying our promotional balances on time. Shame on you Care Credit for your deceitful practices!
