Wells Fargo placed a hold on my mobile deposit without notification. I deposited a check for $600.00 via mobile deposit, and the email said it would be available on -/-/2016. Without ANY notice, they have now placed a hold, even though the $600.00 check has already successfully cleared the other bank. Wells Fargo is committing fraud and causing an illegal overdraft. Not only are they holding a check that has already been paid, they placed a hold without notifying me in any way shape or form, most likely in an attempt to scam me for overdraft fees.
