I paid Credit Collection Services ( CCS ) for a delinquent payment to - for $310.00 on - -, 2015. The payment was processed and deducted from my account on - -, 2015. When I called CCS to inquire why the payment had not been reflected on my credit report they responded that they did not own the account at the time of payment, however, the check was cashed and processed by CCS. If they did not own the account, why did they cash the check nor inform me of this information. After writing to them, they have processed a refund check for the entire amount.
