I have had my account with Wells Fargo for almost 2 years. During the - season my card was blocked 8 times prompting me to call Wells Fargo each time and verify my transactions. It was embarrassing ; I would swipe my card with funds available and the card would be declined. On -/-/2016 I was told that my account was closing due to too many " claims ''. When I opened my account I was told that there was a $0.00 liability clause for claims. It was never stated to me or anywhere in the policy that I could only have a certain number of claims in order to keep my account open. My account was placed on hold and I was n't even called or e-mailed about this. I had to call the customer service line who advised that there was a hold on my account. The customer service line then transferred me to " Loss Prevention '' where the rude representative did not answer any of my questions. She just kept repeating that this was a business decision and then she disconnected the line on me. I went into a local branch located at - - -
am no longer a Wells Fargo customer and needed to take my business else where told me that I would needed to go to the Wells Fargo located on - - in - to withdraw my money. I knew this was a lie because I had already spoken with my HR department who advised that the money would come back to them and they would disburse in the form of a check. When I tried to explain this to - he was n't listening and he stated that I no longer had an account with Wells Fargo but could open an account else where before prompting myself and sister to leave the facility without incident. The fact of the matter remains that Wells Fargo does not state any where in their policy that they would close my account due to - amount of claims and in my opinion and legally my account should have never been closed ; especially without my knowledge.
