I have received numerous calls from Citibank requesting to speak to my Father-in-Law " regarding his account ''. I have repeatedly told them that this is not his phone number, his home, nor anything else of his, and he can not be contacted here. One representative requested that I give him a message to call them back and gave me a phone number. ( Violation # 1 of FDCPA ). I have also asked them several times to remove my phone number. They assure me they will, and then a few days later they are calling again asking for him. ( Violation # 2 of FDCPA - repeat contacts of family member without request of such by myself. ) They just called me again today and asked for him. I told the lady again, not him, his number, his home, and to remove the number. She reported she " would try '' to do so. My father-in-law is a - Veteran and deserves all appropriate protections. ( I am not a veteran. )
