While we were vacationing in -, FL last week ( -/-/--/-/2015 ), some crook went into a Chase branch located at - - - -, -, FL - and EMPTIED out our checking account. Someone posing as my husband withdrew $4300.00 from our account leaving us with less than $130.00!!!!!! We have many bills coming due -/-/- including our mortgage and homeowners associated dues, with others to follow including life insurance, car payment, etc. We went to the branch and filed the complaint. Chase says we now have to wait 30 business days and will not give us a provisional credit! This is OUTRAGEOUS. That will bring us into -/-/-! We have bills to pay. This was not our fault. This was negligence on the bank 's side and they can easily fix this by pulling up surveillance video to confirm this was not us. Now we suffer because of the lack of security measures taken at the branch that allowed some low life criminal to empty our checking account on -!!!
