Contacted Equifax today -/-/2015, in an attempt, to dispute inquiries. I initially spoke to a customer service rep by the name of -. She submitted a dispute for a collection account with confirmation number -. She stated she was unable to dispute any inquiries. She continued to say the Fraud Department would have to assist me. I spoke to - in the Fraud Department. He stated they are unable to dispute inquiries, because they are factual. I then requested to speak to a supervisor. I spoke to - who stated she was a supervisor in the Fraud Department. I explained to her about the inquiries and attempts to get discrepancies resolved through the creditors, without success. I also told her that I was told by the CFPB that credit bureaus have to dispute inquiries and could provide me with documentation used to complete the investigation. She then told me they do not have the capability to dispute inquiries. I then told her that inquiries were able to be disputed in the past. Asked had that changed. She stated again they do not have the capability to dispute inquiries.
