AES/PHEAA Student Loan Complaint

AES/PHEAA Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments Florida

I have been battling with AES since -/-/-. I informed them that due to the lack of hours at my current employer, I could no longer afford to pay $710.00 per month and I was currently in the process of obtaining a - job. I even offered an amount of roughly half the monthly amount ( which would be extremely pushing my monthly budget ). Most recently I have sent multiple letters to AES and their - party collection group - -, requesting that they send the original copies of all documents proving that this " debt '' is valid. The only responces I have received from AES is the current balances on each of the individual - loans. AES continues to harrass myself and the co-signer which happens to be my retired father. I have tried working out a reasonable solution with AES which they refuse to budge because it is considered " private student loan ''. Per their records, I have paid $34000.00 ( $23000.00 in interest, $10000.00 in principle and $10.00 in late fees ) since I have been in repayment. How is that possible when the original amount on these alleged loans is $62000.00 but the current balance is $81000.00? AES yet again fails to provide any copies of documentation from the years -/-/--/-/- that shows any signatures from myself and/or co-signer validating the alleged - loans. However, they continue to send emails stating pay now or your credit rating will be affected or place calls to my contact number on Saturdays and Sundays when their office is closed ( business hours are - - through - - Monday through Friday EST, per their emails/letters ). At this point I am considering filing Bankruptcy due to the lack of relief from the alleged loans.
