On -/-/- I received an e-mail from Wells Fargo stating that if I use my Wells Fargo Credit Card via - by -/-/-, that I would receive a $20.00 statement credit. Per the e-mail : " Get $20.00 when you use - to make a purchase using your Wells Fargo Credit Card during the holidays! - Just check out in a merchant app with your new iPhone ( R ) 6, iPad ( R ) Air 2 or iPad mini 3, or look for the Near Field Communication ( NFC ) symbol at checkout registers in stores and use your iPhone ( R ) 6 Touch IDTM to authorize contactless payment easily. Make an - payment before -/-/-, and you 'll earn a $20.00 statement credit. '' As you can see from reviewing my balance and from the attached screenshot, I made a purchase of $21.00 using my - - on -/-/-, which is before the -/-/- cutoff date. However, I have wasted hours inquiring about the credit that I never received and was told by multiple people at Wells Fargo that they submitted a request and that I should receive the credit shortly. It has been over a year. I would n't have made the aforementioned purchase if I were not going to receive the credit. This is fraud! I will be happy to forward the e-mail for review.
