Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Pennsylvania
Bill was received for a test or lab work that I never took part in. I notified debt collector ( Financial Recoveries, - New Jersey ) within 30 days that I disputed the debt. I asked them for proof of medical tests performed. They did not provide that proof, instead mailed me a print out of medical codes from a screen on their computer. In less than 30 days of the debt collector sending me the first letter they had already reported it to credit companies. ( Letter mailed to me -/-/2015 late charge filed on my FICO score -/-/2015 ). The bill is for " Lab Work '' from - Hospital. I HAD NO LAB WORK DONE! They said my - filed it. I never agreed to this. No labs were ran, and no results provided. I called the hospital and they had no records of any lab work. The
only contained a print out of medical coding screens, they never attempted to collect the debt again. So I was left to believe my letter disputing the debt must have proven to them that it was invalid and they dropped the claim. I am just a hard working individual that pays what he owes in life. If this was a valid debt I would have most certainly paid it. This is unbelievable. I have medical insurance and my deductible had already been met for the year. My insurance company was confused to this bill when I contacted them as well.
