Macy 's informed me that they did not cancel my card or list that it was stolen. I have received a statement each month since - listing the fraudulent charges as being past due, including late penalty charges. In -, I received a call from a collections agency. When I contacted Macy 's they informed me that their computer systems canceled my fraud claim some time in -, but that they had re-opened it. The representative said that they would email the agency to cancel the calls. The I received another collections call on - -. When I called Macy 's they told me that the investigation had not been started, but that it would be " moved up '' in the list and would be resolved within 60 days. They also informed me that each month I was not paying the charges would be a negative hit to my credit score. They told me that they would email, again, the collections agency to ask for the calls to stop. The representative confirmed that the case would be resolved by - -, but stated that no investigation had been started.. Today - - - ) I received another call from a collections agency. When I spoke to the representative, they again told me they would email the company, but that nothing had been done to resolve my account.
