Chase sent me a misleading pre-approval letter stating that I have been offered with a Chase Sapphire credit card. There is nothing on the letter suggests that it is a advertisement and I may be disapproved. It stated it was an offer, and an offer is a contractual binding if both parties agreed on it. Therefore, I went ahead and provided them my information. It ended up Chase 's lending team disapproved my credit card despite the fact that I was pre-approved. I think what Chase 's credit lending team did is misleading, deceptive, and it create monetary damage on consumer ( I wasted my hard inquiry ). I believe Chase 's credit lending team violated UDAAP Act.
