Good Morning, I was not sure you handled these types of issues however I thought I would reach out to you and ask. I received a letter from Wells Fargo that my checking account was debited for - - dollars on - - 2015 " As a result of a processing error in which my account was credit twice ". I was unable to find the transaction on my account and proceeded to reach out to the bank. I called the bank to inquire and have research done to verify the error ; the representative explained the research would take five business days. When I called back five days later I was told the request would take ten days. After ten days with no response I wrote to
from executive services and he has assigned the issue to a - -. I immediately called - - and left a voice mail. Then I received a call from a representative named - stating he was calling about my issue. I explained to - he was the - person I was dealing with including the two phone calls and emails and that I was waiting for - - and hung up. - - called and wanted until - - to research this and I explained to him the bank has already been working on this simple debit / credit research for - weeks, I advised him I would give him another week, until - -. Otherwise I was reaching out to you as well as The - and the Commissioner of NC Banking regulation. Etc ; I have explained to - - that if the error was my fault I 'll be fine however I need actual debit / credit proof and not just a form letter stating the error was in the banks favor. I know it is only - - dollars however I - last year and I 'm receiving a fraction of my pay as - so every dollar has to be stretched farther. Thank you for your consideration, - - - - - NC - - - -
