I originally had a loan with a company-Check N Go that was defaulted on. I may have received one piece of correspondence in the mail from the company however have not received any other mail or phone calls. Today out of the blue I receive a phone call from a " locator '' looking to find me in order to give me a phone number to call a number about a case or I would be served with papers. I called the number given-- and spoke with a - -. He informed me that I was going to be taken to court for all of these charges if I did n't pay them or set up a payment arrangement giving them a credit card of bank account number. I asked for the name of his company and told him that I needed something in writing. He said I should know about the debt and if I did n't set anything up today then there was nothing that could be done about the file and I would be served. I asked the name of the company and he gave me " Central Mediation Services ''. They further went on to say that I would be served at my place of employment if I did n't comply.
