Chase Bank wrongfully allowed a stolen check made payable to me to be cashed a second time after I had already deposited it via the Chase mobile app. I clearly wrote the words " DEPOSITED ON - '' on the face of the check after the deposit was successfully made on that date. When the criminals cashed the check on -/-/2015, the funds were debited from my checking account even though the crime had been reported to Chase on - -. This action has put my account in the negative and Chase is refusing to take responsibility to rectify this matter. This is unacceptable! I was victimized and as a long-time Chase Bank customer I deserve to be protected by them not disregarded.
