JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
I had a credit card with Chase that was opened -/-/-. Due to financial hardship and loss of income I fell behind and was unable to pay. -/-/-, Chase issued a - c for the Cancellation of Debt and I had to report the amount on my Taxes as income. Chase is still reporting to the Credit Bureaus that I have an outstanding balance and that amount continues to increase. I am attempting to improve my credit and this has impacted me for several years now, even after they cancelled the debt.
