I received a letter from Financial Recoveries located in - - NJ. The letter stated that I owed $40.00, I called Financial Recoveries at - and spoke with a - and when he answered the call he stated that I was reaching the office of - I could not make out his last name. However he misrepresented himself by not saying that I reached Financial Recoveries. I asked - for an itemized bill and he told me that first they did not have a copy of the bill and that if I wanted a copy that I would need to put my request in written. I explained to him that I work in the collection industry and that they needed to provide me with a copy of the bill whether it is a verbal or written request for proof of the debt. After getting no where with - I asked to speak to his manager and he told me to have a nice day and hung up on me.

After - kept over speaking me and telling me that is not the case I asked to speak to his Manager, I was put on a brief hold and - came back on and said I spoke to my supervisor and he told me that what I told you was correct. I then said to - that is no what I asked for I asked to speak to your Manager after several minutes of going back and forth with - I lost my patience because he would not let me speak and when I asked for his Manager again he then hung up on me. I then called the doctors office I believe this bill is associated with at - and they gave me the phone number to their billing service in - Pa I called -. I spoke to a man named - - he told me he could not find any bill listed for myself. - then gave me the phone number to customer service -. I called and spoke to an - - he also stated that he could not find any bill paid or unpaid bill listed under my name or social security number. - gave me a number for the physician 's billing service and gave me a number to a - - -, I called and left - a message and am waiting to hear back from her.
