Medical Taking/threatening an illegal action Threatened to sue on too old debt Arizona

I called Grant & Weber and I told them I wanted to settle my debt which shows $970.00 on my credit report, the agent started to tell me I was very irresponsible for not paying, told me I once called saying I was not going to pay anything and that my balance now was $1500.00 that he was going to sue me and and at this point he was not going to give me a deal. He raised his voice and made me feel threatened and frustrated. I called to pay this debt and got insulted and treated really bad.
