JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement California
There were checks deposited into my account through an ATM. Each check was worth between $ -- $650.00. - checks were deposited. As soon as they were deposited, they were immediately withdrawn from my account through an ATM. The checks were then returned, and then my account was overdraft and charged $12.00 for each returned check. I filed a claim with the bank, but they denied my claim because they said that I did not file a claim soon enough. The activity started on Tuesday - -, 2015 and I filed the claim on Thursday - -, 2015. My account is now at - $7000.00. I live in -, -. the checks were deposited and withdrawn at an ATM in -. I have never been to -. I can provide evidence to show where I was during the time of these deposits and withdraws. If they looked through my banking history, since I have been with them for 5 years, they would have realized that this was not normal activity on my account. The fact that they let some withdraw $3000.00 from the ATM in one transaction is beyond me.
