Wells Fargo Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Connecticut
On -/-/- I bought $4100.00 of Furniture from -. The offered a 12 month interest free payment option from Wells Fargo. The order states No interest if paid in full within 12 months, interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date at rate of 27.99 %. The delivery of furniture was -/-/-. I made regular payments as required and paid the balance in -/-/-. - 's terms of the sale state all orders must be paid in 48 hours prior to delivery. That date is -/-/-. I am being charged $1200.00 of interest because Wells Fargo says the full payment was due -/-/-. I missed the date by a week. Why I was confused was I made another small purchase in -/-/- and that payment date was showing -/-/-. I have excellent credit and had full intention of paying in full by -/-/-. This is very misleading and seems to be a calculated attempt to confuse and trick consumers into missing the deadline and charging an obscene amount of interest! Did Wells Fargo pay - the full purchase price on -/-/-? If not is that date relevant? Needless to say I am not paying $1200.00 or the reduced amount of $930.00 I was offered. The regulations of - were put in place for a reason. I am not unreasonable but this is and I need your assistance to intervene on my behalf. - - - Account # - - - -phone --
