I received a call from a company named STP Group for collection on a debt. I do owe the debt but was not originally with the group. I repeatedly asked the agent - - to send me proof of the debt and I would pay. I told her without written proof of the debt I will not pay. She said gotcha and will further process it. Obviously not following any collections rules as I repeatedly asked for proof of the debt via a letter.
