On Monday - - 2015 at - EST I returned a phone call from a debt collection company called Nationwide Debt Management Solutions . An employee from the company answered the phone who identified himself as -. - began to give me information regarding my debt and the reason for the phone call. - asked me to provide him my personal financial information and where I worked. I declined to provide this information as I felt unsafe to do so without receiving written notice. Abruptly another male employee jumped on the phone identifying himself as - -, Collections Manager, and demanded I provide the information - requested or they would n't be able " help me '' with making payments. He threatened me that he would tell his staff not to provide me payments if I did n't give him my personal information. - went on to use abusive and aggressive language by demeaning me by in a hostile tone, " you know your financial situation. '' " If you do n't tell us the information we need to know then we wo n't be able to setup payments. '' The harassment continued on with his bullying tactics and trying to scare me while the other employee - did nothing. This company has - complaints filed with the -. Someone needs to take serious corrective action against this man and his company. It is not the Wild West and if I am held accountable to a low credit score due to my personal financial situation then unprofessional and harassing collections agents need to be held accountable for their unprofessionalism and abuse.
