I am trying to track the person who cashed a check from my Chase Bank account. The person 's bank account number or bank information is NOT on the check. Chase Bank refuses to open a fraud investigation with the bank where the check was presented, They are engaging in fraud and negligence. Instead of them reading these complaints, they have auto-replies. They have not replied with the information needed to determine who cashed the check. They simply are reading the name on the FRONT of the check, not the back. Well, these complaints will keep coming until they open a fraud investigation. I went into Chase bank and requested them to open an investigation. I was told to open a police report. My response was I ca n't open a police investigation until I know who cashed the check. I contacted - and was told that the numbers on the back of the cleared check DO NOT BELONG TO AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM, Chase Bank is grossly negligent and unprofessional. These complaints will NOT cease until they open an investigation with the bank where the check was cashed because Chase Bank is responsible for knowing who they give money to from customers accounts.
