I had internet service years ago with - - and cancelled due to poor internet and service. I was notified in -/-/- and spoke with an agent of Resurgent that I needed documentation of the validity of this debt as I was never notified of such debt. - - I disputed the claim in writing to Resurgent still waiting for verification. The only thing they can come up with is a date that they were told it originated, a -/-/- date it was charged off, and a date they acquired it for LVNV Funding who bought the debt from -. I am not in the habit of paying just because someone says I owe them..I need month and dates of this service for verification of its validity as I have never been notified of this in the past..
