JPMorgan Chase Bank account or service department,
Checking account Deposits and withdrawals Georgia
Between -, my account was compromised. My bank never contacted me regarding any suspicious activity or anything. I closed the account -/-/-. -/-/- I contacted my bank. I spoke with a claims representative about the unauthorized transactions. She told me that she would take care of it for me. She told me not to worry. After over 30 days, I received a portion of the money that was taken from me. There were several claims filed ( around - ). I submitted a letter requesting all of my money be returned for - of the claims. This would total over $15000.00. My bank sent me an electronic letter the very next day saying the transactions were authorized. I called and was told they had my computer 's IP address. I requested to review the information the had. I never received it. Thereafter I received a letter approving and finalizing my claims. I submitted another letter requesting the return of my money. Then the claims representatives told me that I had not reported the transactions within the 60 days. This is the first time I had heard of reporting unauthorized transactions within 60 days. I began researching. My bank has not
- consumers. How can my bank refuse to return my money using this 60 day rule ; But, refuse to inform us this same rule publicly? This is misleading. My bank is telling - us everyday that we are not liable for unauthorized transactions. I was returned a portion of my money. I am asking that - claims be returned in full. Today - stated the same quote of zero fraud liability protection from your bank. I have been reaching out to the Executive Office -, the Corporate Office -, Claims representatives, Department -, and a local branch urging them to return my money. I even lied like I had already contacted your organization and filed a complaint against them in hopes of prompting them to do the right thing and return my money. I review their social media sites every single day. So many consumers are complaining about the same thing. They can not lie to us publicly in an attempt to attract more customers, then refuse to stand by their public statements. This is misleading. The Federal Trade Commission refers to this in Section - of their FTC Act : Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices. I really want my money returned to me.
