I attempted to cash a check at a Wells Fargo, drawn on a Wells Fargo in - California. The customer service manager informed me that there was a fee of $7.00 to cash the check because I do not have an account with the bank. They refused to issue payment because I would not accept a $7.00 fee for funds drawn on their institution.
