I have been receiving phone calls from a representative from Oxford Law group of - - - -, PA -, starting on -/-/2015. In the first call by - -, I was told " I am a legal assistant from the attorneys office trying to reach - ( my name ), and have been asked to give you information. If you can call me we can discuss this so obviously I do not have to call you anywhere else '', no identification that this was a debt collector trying to collect a debt was made. In the next voicemail, ( also no identification that this was from a debt collector ) on -/-/15 I was told that I need to return the phone call to the attorney, that he is waiting for your call ( this was conducted in a threating and hostile manner ). I then received a phone call on -/-/15, stating that it was a debt collector, at the end of the voicemail the agent stated " We will get her ''. I received several calls throughout the next few days and the next voicemail was -/-/2015. Stating that it was debt collector. At the end of the message the agent stated " we found out she 's a - ''. The first written communication I have received regarding this debt was on -/-/2015, with their letter in the envelope dated - -, 2015. The letter that the office mailed me was postmarked -/-/2015. In the letter that they sent me they stated that they have not contacted an attorney to review my case, which was contradicted by the voicemails I have received from their office, which I have saved. I have sent them a letter requesting them not to contact me regarding this debt. This office is harassing me by the use of threats, misleading statements and violating my rights as a consumer under Federal Law and California - Fair Debt Collections Act.
