PayPal Credit card department,
I have a Paypal account and Paypal Credit. I have logged into Paypal several times to have it default payments to - of my credit cards but when I use PayPal to purchase something it always defaults to Paypal credit and I have to go to the extra step of changing it to my credit card. Several times it did n't give me the option of changing it. Today I received a phone call saying my Paypal Credit was past due. I never received a statement either by mail or email from them saying I owed money. I do get an email from Paypal, but it always says I have a $0.00 balance. I called Paypal today to find out what was going on and got no satisfaction. When I told them I wanted to close my Paypal Credit account I was told I would have to pay a $35.00 late fee in addition to a $64.00 account balance. I think that this company is dishonest and deceptive in their dealings with me. I believe that they do this to all of their customers.
