JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
This has to do with a Chase/Freedom card I have linked to my Chase checking account, primarily for overdraft/cash advance purposes. On -/-/15 I incurred a cash advance of $1300.00. When I received the card statement in the mail, it indicated that I had a balance of $1300.00 ( advance + interest ) due on -/-/15. I set up an autopayment of this amount via Chase 's online system for that amount to be paid on -/-/15, which was done. Then I received another statement indicating I still owed $18.00 on the account even though I had paid off the balance indicated on the previous statement. I attempted to work through Chase 's customer service to get a credit for the $18.00, to no avail. I asked them this question, and could n't get an answer : " How do I ever know what my 'official ' balance is, if the balance on the statement is not correct? ''
