My bank Wells Fargo Bank offers an Alerting '' service on my accounts. I opt to get notified via email and text message for overdrafts. The message is titled Overdraft Protection Advance Notice ''. That implies that I will be notified in advance and I will have the opportunity to correct my balance in order to avoid overdraft fees. However, those alerts '' are only sent the day after the charges are actually charged to my accounts. This is blatantly deceptive and should result in a class action law suit.
