I write this to call your attention to the manner in which your representatives at the branch in -, NJ have chosen to do business which is absolutely deplorable! To attempt to earn inter company marketing and sales credits by opening and closing accounts and manipulating them is both ethically atrocious and against state and federal banking regulations. This is now the THIRD time in the past few years that people from this bank have - with my accounts to my detriment. I am enclosing email correspondence between myself and your representatives that will be self explanatory once reviewed. Very briefly the story goes like this : On - -, 2015 I received a phone call from the Manager, - - - offering to increase the interest rate on my savings account. I related my bad history of dealing with the people at this branch who - my accounts in the past when I moved a large sum of money to Well Fargo and that I had to go back to the bank and do it all over after the bank rep who did this was fired. I did not want to go through this again. I then received a phone call - that a line of credit was being processed and that my checking account would have to be closed and another - opened at which I told him that I will not agree to any of this until I see the terms of the LOC in writing and agree to them. Next thing I know I receive an email confirming my LOC account was established without my knowledge. The following day I receive the terms to that LOC which I did not approve. I immediately sent in WRITING a notice to the - reps that I did not agree to these terms and that they opened an account in my name without my permission, and they are to close that account immediately as they had acted improperly. This all fell on deaf ears, and yesterday I received a bill for the annual fee $25.00 for this LOC.
