Wells Fargo Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Texas
Wells Fargo never disclosed that the minimum payment that they charge on the account is based on the HIGHEST outstanding balance and once set stays the same until ALL balances are paid off. These balances were taken out on zero % with varying due dates to avoid interest if paid in full. Because of the high minimum payment, I am being forced to pay off the card BEFORE the zero is actually due. This is deceptive trade practices and is forcing both a higher minimum payment being reported to the credit agencies as well as depriving me of the 0 % benefit without any notice that this is their practice. This is an abusive practice that is damaging consumers who take out store credit with Wells Fargo and should be investigated, changed AND PUNISHED! They also apply the monthly payments in an incomprehensible way to where you have items that are due later getting more paid off than items that are due sooner. This bad application could also cause someone to miss the due date on items that are due sooner and so incur the interest that the consumer had fully planned to avoid based on their payments.
