This company has called friends of mine, referrals that I placed on prior application loans and told him he 's an attorney ( although he 's not ... when I spoke with the rep he said he 's with Scott Carruther 's law office ). They 've discussed my debt with other people, they call other people ( friends and family of mine ) on their cell phones and scare them telling them they 're an attorney and that I must call them. They call me several times a day, they 're making false statements, bothering my friends and family. I have never gotten anything from them in writing. I asked them to stop calling me that I 've disputed this debt on my credit report and they said I have to send them something in writing. I 'm about to send them a certified letter in the mail.These people are thugs and no attorney in California who is still practicing should put his name along with these types of blatant tactics that are obviously against the law. They do this to helpless people and think they can get away with it by quoting this man 's name The Law Office of -. and he knows their tacts. I 've read hundreds of reviews from other people regarding him and his obvious and I ca n't believe they 're still in existence and that they can continue to treat people like this. I hope that this organization can do something about this. They threaten legal action saying they 're going to summon me and take me to court on a loan amount that I have no idea $18000.00 when the original loan was $5000.00 and half of it which I paid off to them.
