First Niagara Bank Credit card department,
Originally some one used my credit card in -. I never was getting any bills. In - i took out a loan, the bank never notified me that there is an outstanding balance, because I would have questioned it and disputed. In - i got a letter of bank collection. That is when i started to question. I spoke on the phone with the bank and cancel my card. I spoke with another representative to file dispute claim. Not once did the rep mentioned that it was too late to file it. In - i get letter stating it was too late to dispute and i am liable for all charges including late. I filed complaint on cfpd website. Afterwards i got a call from - - from first Niagara bank and after his investigation i was told that the balance will be dissolved but he can not fix the credit report. Recently i received a collection letter regards this matter and my daughter called - - but he just ignored us. Please help with this matter. Thank you very much.
