Ford Motor Credit Company Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Utah
I had a vehicle loan with Ford Credit. They had my phone # and Email account to contact me anytime they needed. They called and would leave messages of call us, but never an email or call mentioning that pay or we will repo your vehicle. In fact on their web site for my account it said nothing of pay by -/-/- date or we will repo vehicle. Suddenly on -/-/15 a tow truck comes at midnight and takes the vehicle, I ask the guy why and he says for Ford Credit. I go in and check my account online and it says the loan is past due but still no warning of repo. 3 days later still no warning of repo, so I send internal message to their support board from my account login stating this is wrong, what is up and why no fair warning. - later they close the access to web account, I get a call from them asking me to pay some payments, I ask why if you have the vehicle already? The gal says oh and hangs up on me. How can Creditors get away with operating this way? Now after 9 days ( on -/-/15 ) I get a letter stating the vehicle was repo 'd on -/-/15 and that on -/-/15 it will be sold at a Private Auction '', unless I pay them the full balance before -/-/15 - really I got the letter on - ( Saturday ) and - in Monday giving me 3 days to cough up the money and get it too them!! I feel this was handled very poorly, and unfairly.
