I have an online bank account with -, I use this for my high yield savings account. I also have an account with Chase Bank. My husband and I were in the process of buying a house & needed transfer - to the Chase account so we could initiate a wire transfer. When I attempted to do this, I found that Chase would not accept the money because they needed to verify that I had funds in the external account ''. Soon after this a block was put on my account & I could n't access my account online. I was told I had to go into to a branch to verify my identity. After I did this, I was assured this would n't happen again, but it did. I had been looking for a motorcycle & found -! All I needed to do was transfer the money to chase so I could get a money order. Well, Chase once again apparently thought I was trying to commit fraud & put a hold on my account! I was told again that I have to go into a branch to verify my identity, ( I was just in a branch earlier same morning ). Meanwhile, nobody will tell me why my account has been blocked! They just treat me like I 'm a criminal & tell me I need to go into a branch to verify my identity! My dream motorcycle may be sold to someone else simply because Chase wo n't accept a transfer! It 's as if Chase does n't like what I 'm doing with my money! It 's my - money! Why am I being treated like a criminal for simply attempting to transfer money TO my Chase account?! I will be closing this account ASAP!
