EOS CCA was assigned to collect on an alleged final bill from - -. They never sent any communication or a dunning notice to me. The address in the bill was incorrect even though both EoS CCA and - - had my correct address ( see attachments ). Additionally, although by their own admission the debt is from -/-/-, they have incorrectly reported it on my credit report as -/-/-, which will make it stay on my report an additional - years. I never became aware of this debt until I saw it on my credit report. Even though they have violated the rules set to protect consumers like me, they have refused to do anything about it. I had no problem paying it, if it was legitimately owed, even though in all the years of having national grid I have never been made aware of it, if they would remove it from my credit report. They have refused to do anything to make up for their own mistakes and I am left with a wrongfully placed collection on my account. I would like this item removed from my credit report as it should never have been placed there.
