Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt resulted from identity theft Minnesota

My parents have been receiving phone calls on an almost daily basis from ERC, Enhanced Recovery Company. My mom was given a reference number and a number so that I could contact them. When I called it was brought to my attention that - had requested they start a collection process from me. I contacted - only to find out that there were multiple accounts opened under my name, which have since been closed. Never have I opened or used a - account. They were made aware of this, but somewhere between - and ERC the communication was lost.
