JPMorgan Chase Debt collection department,

Mortgage Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Indiana

son took out home equity loan, I signed as a grantor to use my house as collateral. I have NO mortgage. Son died. Loan is ONLY in his name, I was turned down for food stamps because they do n't see that I 'm still having to pay on dead sons loan. I live on SS and loan comes only in his name at - a month. Indiana offered hardship loan of $30000.00 to Chase bank but needed assumption letter with my name on it. Chase refused stating they only do that for mortgages. I applied for my own loan just so I could lower payments, even with a credit score of - they turned me down. I 'm - yrs old. I do n't see how this is legal banking practices. I need help.
