Good afternoon, I do n't know where else to turn in regards to getting my issue resolved. Dealing with their customer service reps has been a real nightmare. It seems like everyone we have dealt with has an attitude or loves hanging up on people. I have worked in customer service for almost - years and I am appalled by their customer service rep 's actions. It is no wonder there are so many complaints about your company online. Myself and the borrower on the loan, - -, went through a separation and finally a divorce in -/-/-. During that time per the divorce decree, the borrower, - -, was to pay off the loan or refinance in order to get my name removed. This never occurred and he defaulted on the loan. A judgment was placed in my name because of his action- -. A couple of years went by and I pulled my credit report which reflected the judgment that was placed. I understand I am still liable for this debt since my name was still on the loan. On -/-/- I made a call to - and spoke with a - ( SP ) employee number -.
information on to my ex-husband and informed him to contact the number above to pay $1300.00 in order to get this settled. - made the call and made a payment over the phone for $1300.00, which cleared his account in -/-Once it cleared, he constantly called to get a letter stating the debt has been settled in order to get the judgment removed. The rep he was in contact with, never provided this information. I thought this was all handled and the judgment was removed out of my name. Fast forward to - this is still showing on my credit report. I called the number again and was told the judgment was still in my name. The rep states she saw a large payment was made, but does n't know why. I explained to her the history above and told me to have - call. - called the following days to figure out what was going on. They informed him that the judgment was never settled and its still outstanding. He again explained to the reps the history above. They informed him there was no proof in their system that payment was to settle the debt. Since that amount, $1300.00, was made over the phone and there is no letter from collections or your attorneys. They stated they had no proof of that amount, $1300.00, was to settle the debt and judgment. All I am asking is for someone to look into this issue. Please pull phone calls, look at notes, etc. This has been settled and has been holding up my move.
