On my Amazon.com payment webpage in - 2015, Synchrony Bank promoted a financialoffer : 5 % cash back or 0 % APR on purchases. The page expressly stated that Amazon.comStoreCard members enrolled in the paid - membership would automatically '' receive these benefit choices. This ad on the Amazon.com payment page appeared for the next - months. I made several inquiries to Synchrony Bank about receiving this financial promo. No one, either reps nor supervisors, knew about the promo or how to follow-through. In - 2015 the Amazon.com payment webpage changed, the offer reappeared, yet it was no longer an instant '' benefit. I selected to receive 5 % cash back on purchases at that time. -, 2015 StoreCard statement for Amazon.com from Synchrony Bank did not include the cash back on purchases benefit, after I made rather difficult, repeated inquiries. Synchrony Bank made a financial promotional offer, - 2015, based on purchases made by - membership clients that they did not honor or follow-through. Synchrony Bank was not able to, and appeared incompetent about correcting this matter.
