On - - at - -. I received a phone call from -, which is one of the phone numbers that Well Fargo National Bank uses to call me about a debt. I answered the phone and said Hello ''. The girl on the other end said Hello? '' I said Hello, thinking maybe she could not hear me. Then she said, Hello?, Hello?, Hello? '' and hung up the phone. The collectors from Wells Fargo call me every day, until I answer the phone, for that week. Then the next week, the cycle starts, again. I am working with a Credit Counseling Service to resolve my debt issues. Wells Fargo National
How did you get in this situation? When I respond that they are getting money thru the Credit Counselors, they respond that they have refused the offer. I remind them that they are accepting the money and tell them that that is the best that I can do. Wells Fargo sends me Settlement Letters stating that they are willing to settle for 60 % of the balance. But, at the end of the letter, they state that they will turn the information over to the IRS and that I may be liable for additional taxes. I am tired of the endless phone calls, the letters, their refusal to work with the Counseling Service.
