Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Texas

i went - hospital er in -/-/- was treated did not have ins. informed the intake person tha i could go to - if that was a problem they said it was ok because of my condition the hospital resolved my bill. now its -/-/- check my credit there is a bill from a company called procollect for $940.00 i call they tell me it from a physicians emergency care i tell them i have never heard of these people nor have i ever received a statement/ bill of any kind, they say dont care pay or will destroy your credit ask for itemized bill they refuse. i called - they tell me they no longer do business with physicians emergency care because of their wrongful billing of patients. in fact they were contract doctors and tHey are now out of business filed bankruptcy sold their portfolio to a third party and cant be found. PRO-COLLECT IS ILLEGALLY TRYING TO COLLECT ON ILLEGAL BILLING STATEMENTS THAT ARE TOTALLY FALSE AND WITHOUT MERIT. I AM ASKING THAT PRO-COLLECT REMOVE THIS COLLECTION ITEM FROM MY CREDIT AS THIS BREAKS ALL FDC PRACTICES AND LAWS
